Museum Passes
Thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Westfield Athenaeum, Westfield residents can reserve a museum pass online or call 413-562-0716. The same pass may only be used one weekend per month per family.
If you are not a Westfield resident, you can request a pass at the reference desk in person on the day you wish to use a pass.
Museum passes can be picked up at the Information Services Desk
- Amelia Park Children's Museum, Westfield: Admits one family/up to 4 people
- Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield: Admits up to 6 people at a discount
- Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, Amherst: Admits up to 2 adults & 4 children
- Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridg: Admits 4 people
- Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle, Springfield: Half-price admission for four guests
- Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute, Williamstown: 2 adults & their children. Pass only needed from June 1st - October 1st.
- Massachusetts ParksPass, State wide except Nahant & Nantasket Beaches : Admits 1 car
- Forest Park Zoo, Springfield: Admits 4 people. Zoo re-opens April 1, 2010
- Children's Museum at Holyoke/Heritage State Park, Holyoke: Admits 6 guests
Policy on Museum Passes
- The Westfield Athenaeum makes available a variety of museum passes to any individual holding a CWMARS library card that is in good standing (i.e. with no outstanding fines).
- Residents and non-residents may borrow passes on a walk-in basis. Only Westfield residents may reserve passes up to 2 weeks in advance.
- One pass per family per day is allowed.
- There is a 1-day loan period on all passes in order to maximize usage.
- Patrons who return a pass late will be charged a $10.00 per day late fee.
- The charge for a lost pass is $20.00.
- Passes in their original envelopes are due back before 8:30 a.m. on the due date.
- For your convenience, passes may be returned in the outside book drop located outside the Boys and Girls Library.
- Museum pass reservations made through the online catalog will not be accepted. Those wishing to reserve passes in advance must make a reservation using our online system, in person, or over the phone.
