Cell Phone Policy
In order to serve the interests of our users, and to preserve a place of learning that respects the rights of others, the Westfield Athenaeum restricts the use of cell phones in the building's public spaces.
In the adult section of the Library, the use of cell phones is restricted to the main foyer. In the Boys' and Girls' Library, the use of cell phones is restricted to the juvenile/YA section.
When you enter the Athenaeum we ask that you turn off the cell phone ringer.
Patrons who need to make or take an extended cell phone call may be asked to leave the building temporarily. Patrons leaving the building to use a cell phone should be sure to take their valuable belongings with them.
Inappropriate cell phone use should be reported to a library staff member at the nearest service desk.
