4th Annual Dickens of a Day House Tour
This Sunday, Dec. 7th, the Annual Dickens of a Day House Tour begins at 11 a.m. This year you will get to walk inside 8 lovely old homes that have been decorated by local decorators. The tour begins at the Westfield Athenaeum where you will purchase tickets ($15 per person), meet Queen Victoria and her court, enjoy an 18' holiday tree, carousel horses, and photographs of past and present house tours in the Jasper Rand Art Musuem. Then, enjoy some punch and cookies and begin your walking tour. (Noble Hospital is providing free transportation to the houses until 4 p.m. when the tour ends.) Below is a listing of the houses and their decorators:
- 14 Pleasant is decorated by Irene Jensen of Grasshopper Greenery.
- 27 Pleasant Street is decorated by Sue Walsh Peterson of Pepper Berries.
- 30 Day Ave is decorated by Helen Mason and her daughter Chris of Twig & Berries.
- 51 Court Street is decorated by Pamela White owner of With Heart and Hand.
- 81 Court Street is decorated by Gail Kelly of Flowers by Webster.
- 24 Chestnut Street decorated by Donna Shibley of Pilgrim Candle.
- 87 South Maple Street decorated by Mary & Larry Brady,Peggy & David Doe, and Ann Koerber.
- 70 South Maple Street decorated by Jim Smith of Buckboard Antiques.
