Thousands of hardcover and paperback books, videos, DVDs, cassette tapes and magazines for children and adults are sold each year during the three-day sale. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Westfield Athenaeum, in support of the Athenaeum's programs and services.
This year's Book Sale

- In the Athenaeum's Lang Auditorium, located on the lower level.
- The doors open on Thursday at 4 PM.
- There is a $3.00 entry fee for Thursday evening only.

Ongoing Sale
The Athenaeum also sponsors an ongoing book sale in the main lobby, across from the Main Desk. These library discards include low-priced hardcover and paperback books, magazine giveaways and more. Heading for a trip? This is the perfect place to look for beach books or something to read on the plane.
